Kre8tors May Blog Hop – Goodbye Occasions

kre8torsblofbanner

Hello and welcome to May’s Kre8tors Blog Hop. I am a Independent Demonstrator from the UK.  Today I am joining other Demonstrators globally to showcase items which we will be saying goodbye to from the Ocassions catalogue. You may have joined me from Sue and her fabulous project.

Over the past few days it has been very unusually hot here in the UK and it got me thinking of the lush Painted with Love Specialty Designer Series Paper.  Now I must hold my hands up and admit that I have been stroking the papers rather than using them because they are so lovely.  It was time to use them and decided upon on a scapbook page.  I found a lovely picture of my Mum and Dad meeting my daughter for the first time.  I know that she was born on a cold November day but somehow the paper and photo combination worked.

img_7127

I used  the Heart Happiness stamp set, stamping the group of small hearts and the decorative outline heart on 11″ x 11″ calypso coral card with melon Mambo and Rich Razzleberry ink . This was mounted on 12″ x  12″  Melon Mambo card.  Then designer paper was cut to various sizes and one was mounted on Rich Razzleberry card. I also cut a word from the Celebrate You Thinlit Dies using the Big Shot Machine.  I didnt  use embellishments as the gold flecks in the paper was enough from me.

I have listed the products used below. If you would like to place an order of any of these or any other supplies then please CLICK HERE quoting MAY’s HOSTESS CODE  B37TZKXK (only if your order is below £150.  You will receive a free gift if your order is £30 or above).

Flower Shop Cuppa n Card

Good evening, every Thursday I host Cuppa N Card at the lovely Fairchild’s Tearooms in Diss.  If you haven’t already visited this quaint gem then you don’t know what you are missing. We make a card whilst enjoying a cuppa and yesterday I had the pleasure of my upline Sandra Roberts joining us.

4674D75B-2BF4-4998-926C-B1664BD896D2

With the retired list recently being released I thought I would bring out my Flower Shop Stamp Set and matching Pansy Punch.  Once I had chosen my sets I then had to decide which colours to use.  Having looked on Pinterest I found the combination of Rose Red, Wild Wasabi and Dapper Denim.

133279EB-6035-4602-9380-D7D452FFF4CE

I stamped and punched the flowers and then stamped a smaller flower from another retiring set Blooms and Wishes which was then fussy cut.  Blue splats was used from the Swirly Bird Set and finally leaves stamped with Wild Wasabi Ink from Painted Harvest which again were punched out with the Leaf Punch.  This is why a love Stampin’ Up! So many stamps which have coordinating punches and dies..

Two Stitched shaped circle framelit dies  were cut out on the Big Shot  together to make a frame in Dapper Denim Card stock and then finally a cut a strip of whisper white card and made a fish tail one end with another stamp from Blooms and Wishes stamped on it and edgeded green ink.  This was then all layered up and mounted on Whisper White and Rose Red Card stock.

09F5E0AA-4D4F-4359-BDC1-6AB1F7412E3EWith the above card I have blinged it up with some Rhinestones and Wink of Stella. I have also used a bone folder to curl the larger flowers to add dimention. Don’t forget to decorate the envelope!

Kre8tors April Blog Hop – Colour Combo

kre8torsbanner

Hello and welcome to April’s Kre8tors Blog Hop which is a “colour combination”.  We are a group of global demonstrators featuring projects using Stampin’  Up! products.  You have hopped over from the lovely Lisa Edwards Kmiec and you are visiting me in a small village in Suffolk, UK.

If you have been following the Kre8tors previous blogs you will know we have themes and this is our first one using certain colours.  So below is the critria.

img_6850 Such a lovely bouquest of flowers with vibrant colours which means the spring/summer is on it’s way at last. With this in mind I decided to use flowers on my card.  I  needed to make a card for someone who will be celebrating their 80th Birthday, so I used the Number of Years Stamp set and matching framelits for a quick but pretty card.

img_6841

As well as stamping the flowers and sentiments (Berry Burst, Powder Pink, Pumpkin Pie and Wild Wasabi)  I used some Silver Glimmer Paper for numbers and the dots.  The dots were cut using one of the borders from the Mini Treat Bag Thinlit Dies, you can cut 12 at the same time and it is a great way to use up scraps!  You could also use a hole punch for the same effect.

img_6840

The Berry Burst Metallic Edge Ribbon matched perfectly and I’m pleased that this will be in the new catalogue.

Please see below the products I have used. If you would like to place an order of any of these or any other supplies then please CLICK HERE quoting APRIL HOSTESS CODE TWPZBCKJ  (if your order is below £150) you will receive a gift and thank you card from me.

Enjoy the rest of the hop, your next blogger is Cheryl and her lovely projects.

Onstage April 2018 Team Gifts

Good morning, I am still enjoying my Onstage get away and can’t wait to share with you all the news from Stampin’ Up! but you will have to wait a little bit longer.

Part of the Onstage experience is getting together with other members of the OWLS Team (Obsessed With Lovely Stamps) and swapping gifts.  It is just like Christmas!

img_6849

I made 14 team gifts and matching gift bags in the 2017/19 in colour card and Fresh Floral Designer Paper Stacks.  Circles were cut out using the Big Shot Die Cutting Machine and Layering Circle and Stitched Shapes Framelits. Whisper White 1/4″ Organza Ribbon finishes the bags off nicely.

img_6846 I managed to get acrylic coasters which you can insert photo’s or in my case a handmade work of art.  I used one of my favourite stamp sets Friendship is Sweetest Thoughts from the Spring/Summer catalogue.  I also used my new Stamparatus Stamping platform to make sure the image was perfect on all four sides and for multiple cards it was so easy!  The Stamparatus will be in the new catalogue and will be available to buy in June.  I might even be brave enough to make a video showcasing how brilliant this tool is.  I used ink pads to watercolour the images.

img_6845Alphabet dies were used to cut out of the initials in the Whisper White card stock and then I inserted the Myths and Magic Glimmer Paper letter in its place.  I  used the  redundant letter on the tags of the gift bags. The beauty of the coasters is that you can change the design to suit your own taste or use to showcase the new products!

Below is the products I have used and if you wish to place and order then CLICK HERE  quoting APRIL HOSTESS CODE TWPZBCKJ (for orders under £150).  You will receive a gift and card from me.

I have listed the wooden stamps in my product list but you can get in Clear mount to use with acrylic blocks (see Catalogue) or the Stamparatus when available.

Onstage April 2018 Swaps

Good morning from Telford!  Twice a year Stampin’ Up! hold’s an event called ONSTAGE.  This is where hundreds of demos meet up for training, sneak peeks at new products and catalogue’s, crafting, swapping and enjoy spending time with team members.  I arrived yesterday and I would have already a brilliant day but I will tell you all about it on my return.

Even though I would like to own every product in the catalogue I know that this is out of my reach so the next best thing is swapping cards or 3d projects with fellow demonstrators so that I can get inspiration and samples of the sets I don’t have.

img_6842

For my swaps I have stamped this lovely image from Friendship’s Sweetest Thoughts set on Whisper White Card Stock with Basic Gray Ink.  I then used Blushing Bride, Calypso Cora, Soft Sky, Early Espresso and Wild Wasabi Ink to watercolour the image.  Hightlighting the flowers with a touch of Wink of Stella for a bit of sparkle.  I then mounted them on Blushing Bride and Soft Sky Card stock.

img_6843The sentiment was from the Thoughtful Banner set and punched out with the Classic Label Punch.

Tick Tock, Crafty Clocks Bog Hop

Good morning and welcome to a mini blog hop between myself and two other members of the Crafty O.W.L.S team, Sandra and Chery.

In January I was lucky enough to help Sandra, along with Cheryl at the Sincerely Yours show in Thetford. One of the projects we made for the display was a cute clock using products from the Spring/Summer catalogue.  As Sandra had planned to do a class with the clocks, we agreed to wait post our creations until after then. So you have joined me from Cheryl and isn’t her clock pretty!

So it is quite a coincidence that following the Kr8tors Blog Hop where I used Magical Days and Magical bundle that I am showcasing this set again.

img_6739

The Clock is made using a CD decorated with designer papers, stamped images and pearls.  Such a cute gift for a child’s room.

img_6732

I also made two samplers, one for the girls and one for the boys to complement the clock.

img_6733

I have used the blend pens to colour with (which you can buy as a combi, complete bundle sets or singular), you can also use marker pens, pencils or inks to watercolour with. I have listed the products I have used below.  Double click on the image which will take you my online shop for more details.

So now you need to hop over to Sandra’s clock and it is such a lovely clock.  It is great to see such different clocks from each us .

You may have joined me from Sandra and her lovely projects so for my hop I thought I would show off the fun Magical Days Stamp set and Magical Mates framelit dies from the Spring/Summer catalogue. The stamp set and dies can be bought separate but if you buy them as a bundle you will save 10% off the combined price. Suitable for children young and old, it is great for cards, invitations, decorations, scrapbook pages and so much more but today I am keeping with Birthday cards.

img_6720

For the girls we have Mermaids and Unicorns.

img_6719

And for the boys Knights, Dragons and Wizards!.

img_6721

You can also mix them all together and make a box card.

I love the way you can use so many other products with them to add texture such as the seaside and  brick embossing folders, shimmer Paste and brusho crystals.  The glimmer paper and designer papers add just a touch of sparkle which is perfect for any Birthday project.

Below is a list of products I have used.  If you need to order any of these or any other supplies then please CLICK HERE quoting MARCH HOSTESS CODE JRFNYJMK (on orders under £150) and receive a free gift and thank you card from me. Don’t forget Sale -a- Bration is still on which means you can choose Free products on every £45 order, an extra £20 Hostess rewards on party orders of £200+ and finally choose two extra stamp sets when you join the Stampin’ Up! family.  Please contact me for more information with regards to orders and the rewards of  hosting a party or joining my team.

I recently held a scrapbooking class for beginners and  I chose to use the Amazing You stamp set (147212 w / 147215 c) and the matching Celebrate you Thinlit dies (146840) for our layout. They make great titles which are suitable for any occasion .

img_6572

The beautiful Naturally Eclectic Designer Papers (144185) are full of colour and  they are perfect for picking up colours in any Photo, then the Myths and Magic Glimmer Paper 145601) add a little sparkle! Everyone one at the Class arranged their layouts different to each other and it was great to see their creativity coming out.

But as you know these fabulous products are not just for scrapbooking.  I have taken the same design of the page layout for a card. This is perfect for using Up scraps of designer paper!
